Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Nekobar (“we”, “us”) for the Nekobar app for macOS and the website nekobar.app. By downloading Nekobar, using it or buying a license you accept them.

1. What Nekobar is

Nekobar is a menu bar utility for Mac: system monitoring (CPU, memory, disk, network, processes, temperature, GPU, fans), clipboard history, disk cache cleanup, external display dimming, keyboard and trackpad cleaning mode, and animated menu bar pets. It runs on Apple silicon Macs with macOS 15 or later.

2. Free version, trial and Pro

• Nekobar is free to download and use. The free version has no time limit.
• Every new install includes a 14-day trial of all Pro features. The trial is free and does not start any payment.
• Nekobar Pro unlocks the features listed on the pricing page and is sold as a license key.

3. Plans and prices

Yearly licenses are not renewed or charged automatically: when a year ends, Nekobar returns to the free version until you buy a new license. Prices include all fees we charge; your wallet or exchange may add its own network fee.

4. The license

• A license key is issued to the email address you give at checkout and lets you use Nekobar Pro on the number of Macs your plan includes (1 or 3). The key is activated once online on each Mac; after that it works offline.
• To move the license to another Mac, remove it on the old one (Settings → License) or at nekobar.app/license. A key can be moved up to 5 times a month.
• The license is personal. You may not resell, share publicly or redistribute license keys, and you may not modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
• We may revoke a key that has been shared publicly or obtained by fraud.

5. Delivery

The license key is delivered digitally right after the payment is confirmed: it is shown on the payment page, saved as a file to your Downloads folder, kept in your browser at nekobar.app/license and can be restored there with your invoice number. 6. Updates

Nekobar updates itself from nekobar.app. Updates within your license term are free. You can turn automatic installation off in Settings.

7. No warranty, limitation of liability

Nekobar is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or suits every purpose. Disk Clean moves files to the Trash rather than deleting them, so you can put them back; still, you decide what to clean. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not take away a license you have already bought.
